Moving Challenges for Students with Disabilities is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all children, especially those with autism or disabilities in Orleans and surrounding areas. We empower children through individualized programs that address educational, recreational, and home needs. By providing evidence-based training to educators and staff, we promote inclusive practices that benefit all students. Our after-school and holiday programs offer opportunities for children with diverse abilities to learn, grow, and thrive alongside their peers.
We try to make a difference in the lives of children, inclusive children with disabilities and other disorders by creating a strong support network to help children reach their full potential.
We believe in the power of diverse perspectives. Our board, alongside parents, professionals, volunteers, and those studying or working in education, includes individuals with lived experience and knowledge of various disabilities. This ensures our leadership is truly inclusive and equipped to champion the needs of every child.
Your financial support will help us to provide programs and services to children with Autism and their families.
We need volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including running our after-school program, providing support to families, and fundraising.
